Job summary

Bart & Associates, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity Assessment & Authorization - Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support DoD and federal programs in a remote capacity. The role focuses on applying RMF, NIST 800-53 controls, and A&A processes to complex information systems.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of C&A experience, an IAM Level III DoD 8570/8140 certification, and an active Secret clearance, with ability to brief senior management on RMF progress and to support off-site tasks at

Qualifications

• At least five years of C&A experience.
• Advanced knowledge of RMF and NIST C&A processes.
• Experience with DoD or Federal government cybersecurity programs.
• Experience assessing security controls for large, complex information systems.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a cybersecurity SME for Assessment & Authorization (A&A) of information systems and related policies.
• Executes RMF/DLA cybersecurity processes to authorize and maintain information systems.
• Understands how NIST 800-53 controls apply to A&A across large enterprise environments including Cloud and OT.
• Briefs senior management on RMF progress and authorization status.
