Job summary

BMA is seeking a Cybersecurity Assessment And Authorization Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in a fully remote role. The SME will guide the Assessment and Authorization of information systems for DoD, ensuring adherence to cybersecurity standards.

The role involves evaluating cybersecurity risks, providing technical expertise, and advising leadership on compliance. Ideal candidates should have significant experience with RMF and DoD processes.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant RMF and NIST A&A experience.
• Experience supporting DoD cybersecurity processes.
• Must possess required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support A&A of DoD information systems.
• Evaluate cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies.

Skills

Risk Management Framework (RMF) experience

Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity experience

Experience assessing security controls

Knowledge of cybersecurity principles for emerging technologies

Education

IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive designation or Tier 3 (T3) background investigation
