Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Automation Engineer to design and develop security automations using SOAR and AI. You will work with SOC, Insider Risk, DLP, Red Team, and Threat Intel to deploy reusable automations across the security function, leveraging OpenAI/LLMs to expand capabilities and improve detections.

The role requires strong Python development, API integrations, and experience with CI/CD and IaC tools.

Qualifications

• Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Information & Computer Science, Statistics or a quantitative discipline in science
• Demonstrative experience in developing automation solutions for Cyber Security 5+ years
• Information Technology experience 4+ years of Cyber Security Experience 2+ years of any SOAR tool experience (Splunk SOAR, Sentinel, Swimlane, etc.)
• 4+ years of experience developing with Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable security automations with SOC/Insider Risk/DLP/Red Team/Threat Intel
• Manage full lifecycle of automation playbooks from requirements to maintenance
• Lead initiatives to identify automation opportunities and measure efficiencies
• Leverage Large Language Models to identify use cases and automate actions
• Build end-to-end security solutions with automated feedback loops to improve detections
• Expand automation capabilities to support all security functions
• Provide quality checks to reduce errors and enforce continuous improvement
• Advocate standardization where appropriate
