Job summary

RELX INC is seeking a senior security professional to serve as the most senior technical member of the incident response team within our global information security organization. You will lead end-to-end incident response, investigations of security events, and develop robust threat intelligence for proactive defense.

Based in New Jersey with a remote/hybrid work model, you will collaborate across global teams, coordinate with peers, and drive improvements in detection, response, and risk

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of security for cloud-agnostic infrastructure.
• Ability to conduct forensic and incident response investigations; understands IR workflow.
• Ability to analyze security events for anomalous activity and identify emerging threats.
• Experience developing and implementing security improvement and remediation programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full life-cycle of incident response investigations for all reported security incidents.
• Develop and execute security incident response plans; conduct cyber forensics on endpoints and cloud platforms.
• Develop comprehensive incident reports and intelligence to detect high-confidence threats.
• Define mitigations, tune controls, script changes, and troubleshoot security detection issues.
• Review tools, applications and processes to strengthen security capabilities and fill gaps.
• Lead analysis and review of security events to safeguard assets against threats.
