Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Credentialing Quality & Data Operations, to support accuracy, quality, compliance and continuous improvement across credentialing and provider operations. This role may focus on audits, analytics, or as a subject-matter expert for credentialing.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, turn findings into actionable recommendations, and report to the Senior Manager of Provider Operations Credentialing. Remote-based within the U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in healthcare operations, credentialing, quality assurance or audit.
• 1+ year in identifying risks or data issues and driving to resolution.
• Excel/Sheets data validation, reconciliation, analysis, clear presentation of findings.
• Experience with credentialing quality audits and corrective-action follow-up.
• Ability to learn credentialing concepts and data; strong data analytics focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex operational work across credentialing, provider data, quality assurance, and analytics following requirements, policies, procedures, and SLAs.
• Evaluate practitioner and facility credentialing records for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Plan and complete risk-based or routine quality audits; sample selection, evidence documentation, scoring, and reporting findings.
• Analyze datasets using spreadsheets, reporting tools, SQL, or other methods to measure quality and performance.
• Build, maintain, and validate reports and dashboards; investigate data anomalies and reconcile sources.
• Perform root-cause analysis and translate results into corrective actions and process improvements.
• Serve as credentialing subject-matter expert for practitioner and facility requirements and data dependencies.
• Support remediation of complex issues; track action plans through closure and validate effectiveness.
• Coach team members and share SME guidance.
• Manage projects, analyses, audits, escalations, and caseloads independently with quality and timeliness.
• Other duties as assigned.
