Fortrea is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) with ophthalmology expertise to monitor sites across the United States. This role requires 3+ years of monitoring experience and readiness for substantial overnight travel within major US hubs.

The CRA will conduct site visits, ensure regulatory compliance, and verify data integrity while coordinating with vendors and study teams. Remote work options are available, with travel to sites as needed to support study timelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related allied health credential.
• 3+ years of clinical monitoring experience.
• Willingness to travel 30–50%+ overnight.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of site monitoring including routine visits and close-out.
• Maintain study files and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure informed consent and protocol adherence.
• Manage data quality and source document verification.
• Coordinate communications with sites and vendors.
