Job summary

Fortrea's FSP team is seeking experienced Sr. CRAs with ophthalmology expertise to monitor sites across the United States.

Open to major hub locations in California, Texas, and the Southeast & Northeast US, with 30-50% overnight travel. You will provide high standard of care for trial participants, respond to emergencies, and manage on-site monitoring, data integrity, SAE reporting, and site communications in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Clinical Monitoring experience.
• Ophthalmology experience is required.
• Willingness to travel 30–50% overnight.

Responsibilities

• Monitor clinical sites including routine monitoring and close-out.
• Maintain study files and participate in initiation visits.
• Liaise with vendors and perform site management per project plans.
• Ensure protocol compliance and proper informed consent procedures.
• Review CRFs and ensure data integrity in the data capture system.
• Assist with SAE reporting and routine data queries.
• Coordinate training for new staff and act as local client contact as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
