Job summary

CenterWell Pharmacy seeks a Senior Consultative Pharmacist to optimize medication therapy by consulting with patients, pharmacies, and providers. The role includes educating members and resolving access issues while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Travel is occasional as needed; strong problem solving, collaboration, and computer proficiency are essential for delivering high-quality patient care in a remote/hybrid setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Active pharmacist license in the relevant state.
• Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs.
• Ability to solve problems and encourage collaborative problem solving.
• Focused, accurate, and highly productive work ethic.
• Proficient with computers.
• Passion for improving consumer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients, pharmacies and providers to provide patient care via optimal medication therapy.
• Educate members about proper use and purpose of medications.
• Respond to members' questions via telephone and web chat about prescriptions and pharmacotherapy.
• Resolve medication access issues, such as prior authorization and formulary alternatives.
• Accurately record member interactions and recommendations to ensure continuity of care and regulatory compliance.
