Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical division is seeking a Senior Configuration Engineer to develop and maintain Bid Manager configuration rules for CPS product sub-assemblies. This role can be fully remote across the United States or in-office at Raleigh, NC or Avery Creek, NC.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Order Management to keep configuration data accurate, efficient, and aligned with business needs. Excel-based matrices and Bid Manager developers will be key collaborators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or IT from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Bid Manager configuration (Pick) rules for CPS product sub-assemblies.
• Create and update engineering part number logic using Excel-based product matrices.
• Partner with Bid Manager developers to support new product introductions.
• Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to ensure configuration data remains current and accurate.
• Collaborate with Order Management and Engineering teams to identify and implement process improvements.
• Support front-end product configuration tools through cross-functional knowledge and expertise.
