Eaton's Electrical division is seeking a Senior Configuration Engineer to develop and maintain Bid Manager configuration rules and product sub-assembly numbers. The role supports CPS products and collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, and order management to keep configuration data accurate and efficient.

You may work fully remote from anywhere in the United States or join the Raleigh or Avery Creek, NC offices in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Information Technologies/Computer Science from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ related work experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Experience in Bid Manager or similar product configuration tools.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lead and influence multifunctional team without direct reporting relationship.

Responsibilities

Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking a Senior Configuration Engineer. This role offers the flexibility to be fully remote from anywhere within the United States or to work in-office at our Raleigh, NC or Avery Creek, NC locations.

As a Senior Configuration Engineer, you will develop and maintain Bid Manager configuration rules that generate engineering sub-assembly part numbers for CPS products. You will collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and order management teams to ensure product configuration tools remain accurate, efficient, and aligned with business needs.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year.

What you’ll do:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Information Technologies/Computer Science from an accredited institution
• Minimum of two (2) years’ related work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the electrical power or power management industry.
• Experience in a role requiring strong analytical skills, leadership, customer interaction, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with manufacturing or engineering processes.
