Job summary

Munich Reinsurance America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst for a fully remote role on the HR team. You will administer and analyze compensation programs, deliver salary and incentive analyses, and provide data-driven recommendations to managers and partners across locations.

Work with HR partners to ensure compliant, data-driven compensation decisions, while leveraging HRIS and market data. A competitive salary and broad benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, finance, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in compensation analysis, administration, or a related field
• Experience independently managing compensation processes or projects within established frameworks
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
• Knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and regulations
• Experience with HRIS systems and compensation software (e.g., SuccessFactors, SAP, or similar)
• Experience with CompAnalyst, MarketPay or similar survey databases
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders at all levels
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Administer and independently manage assigned recurring compensation programs and processes, including incentive compensation, salary administration, accruals, surveys and related activities.
• Evaluate and classify positions based on job content, market data, and structure.
• Collaborate with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition and managers to review job descriptions and classifications.
• Provide guidance and support on compensation matters to HRBP, managers and employees.
• Administer salary adjustments, bonuses, and other payments per policies and budgets.
• Maintain accurate compensation data in HRIS; generate reports and insights.
• Collect and interpret market data to support decision making.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• May partner with Finance to develop annual compensation budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor compliance with FLSA and Equal Pay Act; stay updated on regulatory changes.
• Lead defined workstreams in regional/global compensation projects.
