Qualifications

• 6+ years of claims experience.
• 3+ years in a Casualty claims role within P&C insurance with minimum 1 year in a Sr. Casualty or complex litigation.
• BA/BS in business, insurance or related area or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must hold an Adjuster license for applicable states or obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Owns claims management through conclusion, including litigation.
• Handles complex auto liability cases with defense counsel involvement.
• Manages negotiation, settlements, and defense costs while guiding strategy.
• Directs defense counsel and provides settlement authority within limits.
• May appear at arbitrations or trials and may be cross-venue handling of various vehicle types.
