Alliant is seeking a Systems Administrator III to lead critical infrastructure initiatives end-to-end. The role focuses on stability, security, patch governance, and automation, mentoring junior staff, and driving measurable improvements in recovery readiness.

The successful candidate will manage hybrid environments, apply security baselines, and collaborate with Security, Network, and App Owners to deliver resilient operations.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in systems administration and ownership of production systems.
• Experience with hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code concepts and tools.
• Proven ability to improve operational metrics and incident response.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a technical lead for infrastructure projects, including planning, implementation, validation, and transition to operations.
• Own administration of assigned systems and services, including lifecycle management, performance, capacity, and security posture.
• Lead incident response for system-related events and drive root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain system standards and ensure consistent adoption.
• Design and execute backup/restore and DR test plans.
• Implement automation to reduce manual work and improve reliability.
• Partner with Security to implement controls and logging requirements.
