Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to design and implement cloud security architectures for complex IC environments. You will evaluate documentation, support accreditation and ensure RMF and IA requirements are met.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8570 certifications within 30 days of start. The position emphasizes hands-on security engineering across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid resources, using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Bicep.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and administering cloud environments using cloud-native functionality, COTS, GOTS, and open-source tools.
• Experience developing and evaluating security documentation: SSPs, contingency plans, security procedures, and COOPs.
• Experience with security architecture evaluations, guidance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with RMF and Agile development environments.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification within 30 days of start.
• Ability to obtain CSSP-IS certification within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud security architectures for IC systems.
• Evaluate and support documentation and accreditation processes to ensure IA and security requirements are met.
• Advise on strategic objectives and codify them into doctrine and procedures.
• Evaluate software and tools to ensure best practices are followed for security.
