Job summary

Iterable is seeking a Security Engineer to join our Security Engineering team in Atlanta. You will strengthen cloud security, drive DevSecOps initiatives, and implement IaC scanning and policy enforcement across Terraform and AWS deployments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities, improve security posture, and help shape security strategy across the platform. A strong background in Kubernetes and AWS is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Security, SRE, DevOps, DevSecOps, or Infra Engineering.
• Strong Kubernetes knowledge and tools (helm, ArgoCD).
• Production AWS experience with IAM, SCPs, VPCs, CloudTrail, Security Groups.
• Proficiency with Terraform.
• Experience building custom actions/workflows in GitHub or GitLab.
• Solid cloud security fundamentals and threat awareness.
• Proficiency in Python or Go.
• Familiarity with policy tools like OPA or Kyverno.

Responsibilities

• Review designs and implementations to identify and remediate security issues.
• Propose architectural improvements addressing cloud security vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement cloud/security architecture and roadmap plans.
• Participate in automation testing tools like CSPM and image scanners.
• Integrate security into CI pipelines and shift left in security practices.
• Promote DevSecOps and IaC policy enforcement for secure deployments.
• Coordinate penetration tests of cloud services.
