Job summary

Global Rabbits LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for a remote, contractor role focused on AWS infrastructure and security. You will help design, implement, and maintain secure cloud environments while ensuring reliability and scalability.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in systems engineering with strong AWS skills, experience with security controls, and proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, PowerShell, and monitoring tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in systems engineering with AWS experience.
• Experience implementing AWS security controls and IAM policy design.
• Familiarity with data lake security monitoring and logging.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure with security emphasis.
• Automate tasks using Terraform, PowerShell, or similar tools.
• Maintain system hardening, patching, and incident response.
• Support DR/HA configurations and runbooks.
• Collaborate with teams to meet security requirements.
• Document systems and configurations clearly.
