Applied Information Sciences, Inc is seeking a Lead QA Engineer for a remote, cloud-migration focused role. You will define the enterprise test strategy, establish the initial automation framework, and mentor a team of QA engineers across migration projects.

You will evaluate migrated applications for Azure and AWS, integrate tests into CI/CD, and communicate findings to senior stakeholders. This role emphasizes hands-on framework development and strategic quality leadership.

Qualifications

• US Citizen or authorized to work in the US.
• 8+ years of quality engineering or software testing experience with automation.
• Experience building enterprise test strategies and quality gates.
• Experience testing cloud migrations and cloud-hosted apps.
• Strong test management, requirements traceability and automated reporting.
• Hands-on ability to build an automation framework and lead QA engineers.

Responsibilities

• Defines enterprise test strategy, quality gates and acceptance criteria.
• Designs the initial automation framework and reusable test utilities.
• Guides and coaches Cloud Migration Test Automation Engineers.
• Oversees requirements traceability, test cases and evidence in test tools.
• Integrates automated testing and reporting into CI/CD pipelines.
• Oversees technical validation of migrated apps in Azure/AWS.
• Reviews acceptance packages and provides go/no-go recommendations.
• Reports quality metrics, risks and trends to program leadership.
