Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking a Sr. Cloud Developer – Java / AWS to lead the design, development, modernization, and deployment of enterprise cloud apps. You will drive full‑stack Java development, cloud engineering, and DevSecOps in Medicare healthcare environments.

The role requires hands‑on Java/Java EE, Spring, JPA, and cloud expertise, with AWS or Azure and IaC experience. You will mentor teams and ensure secure, compliant, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years in application development and IT disciplines.
• Strong full‑stack experience with Java/Java EE, Spring, JPA, and JavaScript.
• Hands‑on AWS or Azure, including migration and modernization.
• Experience with IaC, CI/CD, DevSecOps, monitoring and observability.
• Familiarity with NIST 800‑53 and FedRAMP security/compliance.
• Healthcare/Medicare environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, integration, and deployment of cloud‑native and cloud‑modernized apps.
• Develop full‑stack apps within Java/Java EE ecosystems using Spring and JPA.
• Enable lift‑and‑shift, re‑platforming, and modernization on AWS or Azure.
• Design scalable, highly available cloud solutions aligned with Well‑Architected principles.
• Implement secure architectures including mTLS, identity management, IAM, and security best practices.
• Build and sustain CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or Azure DevOps.
• Incorporate NIST 800‑53, FedRAMP, WCAG/Section 508 compliance; support security testing and auditing.
• Mentor teams, collaborate across architecture, infra, security, and business units.
