Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Senior Security Architect to lead secure architecture across cloud and AI platforms in a remote United States role. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure security by design, scale, and resilience for enterprise environments.

The role emphasizes Zero Trust, data protection, and secure SDLC practices. You will drive threat modeling, architecture reviews, and governance guardrails while mentoring engineers and collaborating with risk/compliance stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with security architecture responsibility.
• Designed and reviewed security architectures for cloud/security including IAM, data protection, network security, and secure-by-design principles.
• Experience with cloud security in Azure and/or AWS, multi-cloud/hybrid environments.
• Security controls for cloud identity, privileged access, encryption, key management, logging and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise cloud and AI security architecture principles, roadmaps, reference patterns, and standards.
• Lead security architecture reviews for cloud deployments, AI use cases, and third-party integrations.
• Translate requirements into risk-informed security requirements and designs balancing protection, usability, scalability, and cost.
• Design secure multi-cloud/hybrid architectures including identity, network, data protection, and governance guardrails.
• Mentor engineers and delivery teams on security architecture standards and best practices.
