Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Sr. CRA with 3+ years of monitoring experience and ophthalmology expertise to support our FSP team across major US hubs. You will manage site visits, data integrity, SAE handling, and close-out activities while ensuring patient safety and protocol compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Clinical Monitoring experience.
• Ophthalmology experience.
• 30-50+% overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of study site monitoring including routine monitoring and close-out of clinical sites, maintenance of study files, conduct of pre-study and initiation visits; liaise with vendors; and other duties as assigned.
• Responsible for all aspects of site management as prescribed in the project plans
• General On-Site Monitoring
• Ensure the study staff have received the proper materials and instructions to safely enter patients into the study
• Ensure the protection of study patients by verifying informed consent and protocol compliance
• Ensure data integrity by monitoring CRFs or other data collection tools
• Responsible for registry management as prescribed in the project plans
• Complete SAE reporting and follow up of SAEs
• CRF review; query generation and resolution
• Assist with training of new employees
• Coordinate designated clinical projects as a Local Project Coordinator
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
