Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) for a contract position based out of Sacramento, CA, with 60–80% travel. The role involves remote or on-site monitoring to ensure protocol compliance and data integrity under ICH-GCP guidelines.

6-month renewable contract with potential conversion to permanent. Therapeutic background accepted from various areas. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits available for eligible temporary roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or nursing required.
• Minimum 2+ years of clinical research monitoring experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in source data verification and monitoring plans.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sites using risk-based monitoring to identify process gaps.
• Perform source data review and data verification for accuracy.
• Assess investigational products through inventory and records review.
• Escalate deficiencies and ensure timely resolution with the Clinical Team.
• Maintain regular contact with sites to ensure protocol adherence and audit readiness.
• Assist in investigator meetings and site initiation according to procedures.
• Support project team with reports, publications, and process improvements.

2+ years CRA experience
