Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a data analyst to lead analytics projects, collaborate with clinical and operational teams, and develop BI reports to support management decisions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in health-related fields or RN, with at least 2 years of health data experience. Experience with ECQM and quality metrics is strongly preferred. The position is full-time, mostly remote with expectations for some meetings at facilities.

• Understands registries and databases and identifies data integrity issues.
• Communicates effectively in verbal, written, and electronic formats.
• Proficiency with Windows operating system and common software tools.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Directs and executes multiple, concurrent projects with minimal supervision.
• Leads evaluation of requests for service with clients to clarify business and technical issues.
• Develops analytic approaches and population definitions to meet project needs.
• Creates simple to complex reports using BI tools and educates clients on data concepts.
