Job summary

Larson Design Group (LDG) is seeking a Designer to work remotely, applying foundational to intermediate engineering and landscape architecture principles. The role involves design calculations, technical reports, and developing plans and details with guidance from senior staff.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of experience, a technical degree, and proficiency in Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation/InRoads, Hydrologic/ Hydraulic software, SketchUp, and the MS Office suite.

Qualifications

Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
8+ years of job-related experience preferred.
Licensure not required.

Responsibilities

Produce design drawings using CAD tools and design software.
Review work for accuracy and apply redline corrections.
Prepare specifications, submittals, and project documentation.
Coordinate multi-discipline drawing sets with staff and contractors.
Support QA/QC processes to improve deliverables.
Research standards, codes, and permitting requirements for compliance.
Develop standard project details under direction.
Review shop drawings for technical accuracy and compliance.
Assist in design calculations, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimates.

Education
