Safety National in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive advanced analytics and machine learning across claims, underwriting and actuarial teams. You will transform large datasets into actionable insights, develop and deploy predictive models, and ensure data quality and regulatory compliance while communicating results to diverse audiences.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with a minimum of 3 days per week in the St. Louis Corporate Office.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field.
• 6+ years as a Data Scientist focusing on ML and predictive modeling.
• Proficient in Python or R with ML libraries.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases and Snowflake.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; hybrid work in St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex business challenges via advanced analytics and ML.
• Partner with claims, underwriting, actuarial and other teams.
