Cornerstone Search Group is seeking a Sr. Clinical Development Physician Lead to drive the clinical strategy and execution for a flagship cardiovascular program.

This remote-based role offers the chance to influence late-stage development and collaborate with a team focused on cutting-edge therapies. The candidate will lead cross-functional efforts, shape the scientific narrative, and interact with investigators and leaders to advance transformative cardiovascular medicines from pre-IND to NDA.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (M.D.) required.
• Board Certification preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of cardiovascular clinical drug development experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical strategy, planning and execution for cardiovascular program.
• Input into global evidence generation plan and regulatory strategy.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaborations to align medical/scientific input.
• Define scientific narrative for cardiovascular asset.
• Oversee clinical protocol design and regulatory submission documents.
• Interpret trial data and communicate results to leadership.
• Oversee site activation, training, and budget review for studies.
• Present at advisory boards and scientific meetings.
• Engage with investigators and opinion leaders to strengthen program design.
