Job summary

WISE Software Solutions, Inc. is seeking a seasoned C++ software developer for our CAM/DFM and manufacturing-prep software used in PCB industries. The role emphasizes performance, graphics rendering, and scalable multithreaded design in a remote US-based setting.

The candidate will work with a small, highly technical team, contributing to new features, optimising workflows, and resolving complex customer issues across global users. Competitive compensation including benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• BSCS degree or equivalent background.
• At least 5 years of software development experience, primarily in C++ and Visual Studio; Linux and CMake knowledge is a plus.
• Strong understanding of geometric data transformations and analytical techniques.
• Experience building multithreaded code.
• Experience with Direct2D, OpenGL, and/or Direct3D for rendering graphics-heavy datasets is preferred.
• Microsoft MFC GUI development experience is an advantage.
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging abilities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience in configuration management is a plus.
• Experience in the printed circuit board industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new features for CAM, DFM, and manufacturing-prep software.
• Enhance existing product functionality across PCB-focused applications.
• Collaborate with technical support and product teams to investigate and resolve complex customer issues.
• Contribute to mature, industry-proven tools used by engineers, fabricators, and EMS providers worldwide.
• Help improve workflow automation and build software that makes manufacturing faster and more predictable.
