Job summary

Red Global is seeking a Senior C++ Engineer to advance desktop applications through modernization and high-performance design. You will refactor legacy components, implement multithreading, and optimize performance across a large codebase.

Work remotely with teams across Architecture, QA, and Product Management, using AI coding tools to accelerate refactoring and code analysis. English fluency is required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

Proficient in modern C++ (C++14/17/20) with emphasis on performance and concurrency.
Experience designing multithreaded, scalable desktop components.
Ability to modernize legacy components (MFC/ATL/Win32/Delphi) to modern C++/.NET.
Strong analytical mindset with a focus on high quality code.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-performance C++ components for desktop applications.
Analyze and optimize application performance, stability, and scalability.
Design and implement multithreading and concurrency solutions.
Support modernization of legacy components to modern C++ and .NET technologies.
Collaborate with Architecture, QA, and Product Management; leverage AI coding tools to accelerate refactoring.
