Job summary

ZipStaff is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support CCWIS/CCMS projects for a major state government organization. You will work remotely with Augusta-area preference and report to the Project Manager while partnering with IT support teams.

The role emphasizes detailed requirements analysis, process documentation, future-state modeling, and leading user acceptance testing to ensure successful system changes for critical human services applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role supporting requirements analysis and process documentation on complex projects.
• Experience conducting facilitated workshops for requirements analysis.
• Hands-on experience creating workflows using formal notation such as BPMN.
• Knowledge of formal requirements gathering methodologies.
• Experience developing Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, User requirements, non-functional requirements, Report Specifications, and Requirements Traceability Matrices.
• Strong organization and writing skills.
• Experience developing graphic representations of complex business processes.
• Ability to work independently and self-direct while managing time for maximum efficiency.
• Advanced skills working with customers, including excellent communication skills with all levels of business as well as IT staff.
• Ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to define path to success and mitigate risks.
• Develop future-state business process models to address roadblocks and opportunities.
• Create clear functional and technical requirements for solution planning.
• Manage and participate in user acceptance testing to verify functionality of changes.
• Facilitate workshops for requirements analysis.
• Create workflows using BPMN notation.
• Develop Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, User requirements, non-functional requirements, reports, and traceability matrices.
• Partner with IT support teams to define requirements that inform project goals.
• Create graphic representations of complex business processes.
• Communicate effectively with business and IT staff at all levels.
