Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements and system specs for development teams. The role emphasizes high-quality deliverables, documentation, and strong communication to ensure successful project outcomes.

The position is fully remote with an estimated 10% travel. The candidate will work across data reporting, requirements management, and production support, contributing to product delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-7 years of relevant professional experience required.
• Medicaid Enterprise Systems experience highly desired.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, analysis, interpretation, and evaluation of reports, internal/external documents, and surveys.
• Publish results for internal and external clients as appropriate.
• Work with relational databases (MS SQL Server) and analytical processing systems.
• Ensure data accuracy and validate data collection methods in reporting projects.
• Evaluate data quality, applications and functions; produce output and maintain reporting operations.
• Research new data sources and analytical tools.
• Contribute to new product development and improvement in product delivery and presentation.
• Develop and maintain processes for managing requirements and providing production support.
