Job summary

BroadStreet Partners is seeking a positive, strategic Senior Employee Benefits Advisor to join our firm. This remote role requires travel to the Methuen, MA office for periodic meetings and events, with the flexibility to collaborate across client sites.

In this role you will design, implement and optimize health and welfare programs, lead client strategy, manage high-value accounts, negotiate with carriers, and guide HR teams through open enrollment and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 8–10 years of health and welfare consulting experience or 10–12 years of benefits professional experience.
• Active Life and Health Insurance License required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to work with clients at all levels, including C-level decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic client support by evaluating workforce demographics, budget and hiring trends.
• Collaborate with account leaders to craft customized benefits strategies reflecting company culture and business objectives.
• Focus on client retention by building strong relationships with account leaders, acting as their trusted advisor.
• Grow revenue through cross-selling, upselling and optimizing commissions.
• Advise on comprehensive employee benefit plans and assess carriers and plan features for cost-effective options.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA by partnering with compliance experts.
• Negotiate rates and renewals with carriers and TPAs; manage vendor relationships.
• Lead employee benefits communication and support with open enrollment sessions and ongoing guidance.
