Concentric Advisors, a global risk consultancy, is seeking a Senior Background Investigator (Part-time) to join the Corporate team in Kirkland. The role supports remote work arrangements and focuses on conducting and compiling background investigations and reinvestigations for staff and clients.

The ideal candidate will conduct interviews, reviews, and reports, and provide analytic and communication skills across investigative fields.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, psychology, or related field.
• 10 years of hands-on background investigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Read, comprehend, and interpret detailed, complex written material.
• Prepare clear, concise written reports.
• Analyze complex ideas or activities into smaller parts; perceive patterns and relationships; compare and interpret information.
• Manage time to prioritize and combine investigations for timely completion.
• Handle several cases at one time.
• Apply appropriate investigative techniques for administrative investigations to frame a clear background image.
• Communicate effectively with managers, supervisors, coworkers, candidates, and the public.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and tact with diverse individuals.
• Work cooperatively as part of a team.
• Listen on the telephone, pay close attention, and ask follow-up questions.
• Keep interviews focused on the task and cover all required material.
