Binance is seeking a seasoned QA engineer to own backend validation across APIs, databases, and microservices in a large-scale blockchain environment.

The role blends manual testing with automated test development, focusing on performance, security, and scalability for distributed backend services. You will drive big-data QA initiatives and collaborate across product, eng, and support teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of QA engineering experience with strong backend testing and automation focus.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript and hands-on use of automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Solid understanding of APIs, databases, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and the broader SDLC.
• Working knowledge of QA efficiency tooling, AI/LLM-assisted testing, and performance or security testing.
• Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with developers, product managers, customer support, and external partners to deliver reliable product releases.
• Design, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated scripts across the full testing lifecycle.
• Perform manual and automated validation of backend systems, APIs, databases, microservices, and distributed services.
• Log, analyze, and report defects, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurring failures.
• Conduct performance, security, and scalability testing on backend services.
• Lead big-data QA efforts, including automation framework setup, data comparison scripts, and release process improvements.
