Job summary

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend QA engineering experience covering the full testing lifecycle.
• Strong working knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments.
• Scripting ability in Java, Python, Bash, or PHP.
• Experience testing backend services such as APIs, databases, and distributed, non-monolithic systems.
• A debugging mindset that uncovers not just what is broken but why.

Responsibilities

• Prepare integration test scenarios for unreleased features and changes, including hands-on investigation and confirmation.
• Develop scripted Python tests that exercise integration scenarios and RESTful APIs.
• Identify and prioritize weaknesses in existing integration test scripts and deliver planned improvements.
• Maintain integration test environments, test artifacts, and supporting infrastructure.
• Enhance the integration framework to expand automation coverage and improve reporting quality.
• Build scripting tools that reliably execute test cases for backend services.
