Job summary

Lokker is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to own and scale its scanning infrastructure. The role emphasizes high-volume website scanning, browser automation, and distributed scanning with a focus on reliability and cost optimization.

Production experience with browser automation and headless crawlers is required, along with strong background in distributed systems, HTTP/TLS/DNS, proxies and bot-detection related areas. Go, Rust, TypeScript/Node.js or similar languages are a plus.

• Experience building, operating or scaling browser automation or scraping infrastructure.
• Strong background in distributed systems and high-scale backend services.
• Production experience with Go, Rust, TypeScript/Node.js or similar.

Responsibilities

• Own and scale Lokker’s scanning infrastructure for high-volume website scanning.
• Improve reliability, performance and cost optimization of backend services.
• Work on browser automation, distributed scanning, and related networking components.
• Collaborate with teams on containerization, CI/CD and monitoring for robustness.
