Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python and Java; Scala a plus.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience shipping scalable APIs for mobile clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of backend systems and growth initiatives for the MapMyFitness platform.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and design peers to ship great user experiences.
• Respond proactively to bugs and improve the MapMyFitness community.
• Assist with monitoring and incident resolution for high availability.
