Job summary
Visa Hunt in New York seeks a remote Senior Azure Data Engineer for an international organization. Fluent English is required; the position is long-term.
Work 4–6 hours daily during New York office hours, e.g., 9:00 AM NY time; align with global data and governance teams.
Responsibilities include building and optimizing Azure/SQL ETL pipelines, data integration, and delivering analytics to improve performance and customer acquisition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or University degree required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Azure Data Factory: ETL/ELT.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Azure Storage/Data Lake/Data Warehouse.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with database architecture testing and test scripts.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Azure Synapse analytics.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Purview is nice to have.
- Excellent knowledge of English (written and verbal) required.
Responsibilities
- Collecting large, complex data sets meeting business requirements.
- Designing and implementing scalable infrastructure for data delivery.
- Building ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure and SQL technologies.
- Developing analytical tools to extract insights and KPIs.
- Collaborating with cloud, data governance, and information management teams.
