Job summary

Embedded Shishya is seeking a DevOps/Platform Engineer for a remote role handling AWS-based deployments and infra automation. You will collaborate across teams to diagnose outages, enhance performance, and drive scalable, fault-tolerant services.

You will implement and maintain IaC with CloudFormation/ Terraform, manage EC2, Docker, Lambda, and CI/CD pipelines, and support API tooling and monitoring practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 4–8 years of progressive professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with production AWS systems and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience deploying and configuring in AWS, with automation and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and collaborate with multiple teams to investigate problems and provide root cause analysis during outages.
• Carry out deployments as part of flexible release pipelines for web/cloud apps.
• Improve performance, scalability and availability of application resources.
• Automate manual processes using scripting languages.
• Prepare documentation on infrastructure and architecture.
