Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney for a remote, full-time position based in New York City, NY. The role focuses on federal regulatory compliance, including U.S. Customs and import/export compliance. Ideal candidates will have a Juris Doctor degree, a minimum of 4 years of legal experience, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney in good standing with active bar membership; multi-state or federal bar admission is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of legal experience; prior attorney experience required.
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Excellent judgment and professional communication skills.
• Self‑directed and accountable with the ability to manage deadlines independently.
• Curious and teachable, with a willingness to learn new practice areas.
• Interest in business development and growing a practice.
• Comfortable working in a remote environment with the necessary tools and discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing client matters with substantive legal work, including drafting, analysis, and regulatory research.
• Take ownership of assignments from start to finish, ensuring proactive communication about status and deadlines.
• Learn and develop competency in the firm's core practice areas, including federal import/export compliance and FDA regulatory matters.
• Participate in thought leadership, networking, and business development activities.
• Contribute to new client generation by building relationships and identifying opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with the managing attorney and team in a structured remote environment.
• Represent the firm with professionalism and integrity in every interaction.
