Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a skilled analyst to map and optimize clinical and business workflows within the Midwest revenue cycle. You will analyze processes, write requirements, and support testing from unit through user acceptance testing.

You will develop documentation, assist with system changes, and train end users to ensure smooth adoption and ongoing efficiency gains across departments.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in business process mapping, analysis, and requirements documentation.
• AHIMA CPT/RHIA/RHIT or CPC certifications are relevant and preferred.
• Experience linking clinical/business processes to IT systems and workflows.
• Ability to train and mentor staff and manage multiple tasks with priorities.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and improves clinical and business processes; maps workflows.
• Develops test plans and scripts; conducts unit/integration/UAT testing.
• Translates user requirements into functional design specifications with users.
• Develops and maintains process documentation and troubleshooting guides.
• Delivers end-user training and supports system utilization improvements.
