Job summary

Kraken is seeking a Senior Security Architect to join their Security Labs team. The role focuses on designing, reviewing, and verifying robust security architectures while collaborating with engineering teams across the company.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT security, particularly with application security, and will conduct security assessments while remaining up-to-date on the latest trends in blockchain security. This position is fully remote.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an IT security expert, with a strong background in application security.
• Experience in security testing diverse applications.
• Experience with infrastructure security.
• Basic familiarity with security frameworks (OWASP, NIST, etc).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, review & verify robust security architecture in a heterogeneous environment.
• Conduct thorough security assessments and audits of existing architectures, recommending practical improvements.
• Stay updated with latest (blockchain) security trends, threats and mitigation techniques.
• Provide expertise to blockchain teams, ensuring secure operational practices.
