Job summary
EPAM Systems seeks a Senior API/Integration Engineer to deliver robust integration solutions using IBM webMethods. The role is remote across Europe, with collaboration across Business Analysts, Solution Architects and client stakeholders.
You will design, develop and support APIs, integrations and orchestration flows, applying best practices and ensuring secure, scalable connectivity across enterprise systems and cloud platforms.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of API and enterprise integration experience.
- Hands-on with IBM webMethods including Integration Server and Designer.
- Experience with API Gateway, Universal Messaging, Trading Networks, B2B or MFT.
- Experience modernising legacy webMethods estates and cloud/hybrid integration.
- Security, versioning, error handling in REST/SOAP services.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with distributed teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and design solutions.
- Design, develop, configure, test, deploy and support integration solutions using IBM webMethods.
- Build and maintain services, APIs, integrations and orchestration flows using webMethods tools.
- Implement connectivity across enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, databases and messaging systems.
- Develop REST and SOAP APIs, transformations and error-handling frameworks.
- Lead technical discussions, perform risk assessment and provide delivery estimates.
