Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior Android Developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of core Android applications. The role will collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to deliver scalable, high-performance, and user-friendly experiences.

The developer will mentor junior and mid-level engineers and guide technical architecture decisions. We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants.

Qualifications

• 5+ to 8+ years of professional mobile development experience focused on Android.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle, Jetpack Compose, and Material Design.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain advanced Android apps.
• Own architecture (MVVM, MVP, Clean) and ensure SOLID principles.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs, JSON, WebSockets, and backend services.
• Profile performance, address memory leaks, reduce crashes and ANRs; write tests.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and participate in code reviews.
• Manage Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines; assist Play Store releases.
