Job summary

UPMC Health Plan seeks a Senior Analytics Data Integration Developer for a full-time, remote role on the Medicare/SNP Stars Team. Core hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

EST, Monday through Friday, with duties centered on building and maintaining complex data integration pipelines. The ideal candidate will combine strong SQL expertise with Snowflake or Databricks experience to assemble, validate, and analyze large healthcare datasets for health economics, predictive modeling, and program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in information systems, data management, healthcare management, business, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of work experience in information tech, healthcare, business, or research.
• Demonstrated experience compiling, transforming, and managing large datasets from multiple sources.
• Strong SQL skills; experience with Snowflake or Databricks preferred.
• Experience in data engineering and building efficient data structures.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate data errors/variances and derive solutions with follow-up monitoring.
• Recommend optimal data extraction, manipulation, and integration methodologies.
• Maintain up-to-date information on project status and effort.
• Maintain team policies and assist with work distribution.
• Develop high-complexity data sets to support analysis, data science, and clinical operations.
• Coordinate cross-department communication to ensure data integrity.
