Job summary

Air, the leader in Enterprise Readiness, seeks a Senior AI Engineer specializing in AI security to scale Agentic AI capabilities for government and industry. You will secure agentic runtimes, evaluate adversarial threats, and deploy hardened architectures across Kubernetes and cloud platforms.

This role blends applied AI research with production security in a fast-moving environment. You will work with engineers building agent runtimes, evaluation infrastructure, tools, and production AI

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• 5+ years building production software, backend infrastructure, or AI/ML security.
• Experience in AI red teaming and adversarial ML.
• Experience threat modeling complex systems and translating risks into controls.
• Strong Python production software experience and cloud familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop AI red teaming, adversarial testing, and robust inference.
• Threat model agentic AI architectures and identify attack surfaces and boundaries.
• Design adversarial evaluations for prompt injection, tool abuse, and data exfiltration.
• Build automated security evaluation frameworks and production mitigations.
• Design secure execution environments and sandboxing for AI agents.
• Own production infra across Kubernetes, AWS, networking, and compute.
• Improve observability, logging, metrics, and security telemetry.
• Translate research findings into durable security architecture and tooling.
