Job summary

LTS is seeking an Agentic AI Security Engineer to design safeguards for autonomous AI systems, RAG pipelines, prompts, tools, memory, and model interactions across secure governance-compliant platforms. This role focuses on securing AI systems, not just infrastructure.

The Agentic AI platform helps engineers understand, analyze, and modernize one of the most consequential legacy software systems still operating today.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, AI, Software Engineering, Information Security, or related field.
• 7+ years in software engineering, cybersecurity, AI engineering, or application security.
• Experience designing secure cloud-native or distributed software systems.
• Experience with LLMs, AI apps, or Agentic AI platforms.
• Experience securing APIs, microservices, and enterprise apps.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and secure SDLC practices.
• Understanding AI-specific risks: prompt injection, jailbreaking, data poisoning, model abuse, adversarial inputs, hallucinations, data leakage.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls for autonomous and multi-agent AI systems.
• Secure agent orchestration, tool execution, memory, and external integrations.
• Identify and mitigate emerging AI-specific attack vectors and vulnerabilities.
• Secure Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines, embeddings, vector databases, and knowledge repos.
• Prevent unauthorized knowledge access, data leakage, and exposure.
• Implement secure handling of sensitive enterprise and healthcare data throughout AI workflows.
• Perform threat modeling for AI apps, agent architectures, prompts, APIs, and retrieval systems.
• Assess risks from prompt injection, jailbreak attempts, data poisoning, model abuse, and adversarial inputs.
• Develop mitigation strategies balancing security and usability.
• Build guardrails, policy enforcement, human-in-the-loop workflows, content filtering, and governance mechanisms.
• Help define organizational standards for responsible AI development and deployment.
• Design monitoring to detect abnormal agent behavior, misuse, and anomalous model interactions.
• Implement logging, traceability, and audit capabilities for explainability and compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate AI security into development workflows.
• Conduct security reviews of AI features before production deployment.
