Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Senior AI Security Architect to define how AI/ML systems are securely designed, deployed, and governed. You will serve as the security SME across AI initiatives, collaborating with Product & Technology, Data Science, Legal, and Privacy to embed security and trust in every layer of Paylocity's AI ecosystem.

You will influence architecture, participate in governance, and ensure security criteria are baked into PDLC and cloud deployments. This is a remote role within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, CS, or related field.
• 10+ years in security architecture, information security, or related roles.
• Hands-on AI/ML security experience and familiarity with AI governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI security governance and SME for AI use cases across product and corporate domains.
• Develop and operationalize AI risk assessment frameworks and control mappings.
• Represent AI security in ARB decisions and design reviews for secure, scalable AI deployments.
• Drive threat modeling for AI/ML workloads and translate findings into reusable patterns.
• Advise on AI security tooling, CI/CD integration, and secure SDLC practices.
