Job summary

Capital One is seeking an experienced AI/ML engineer to help build an AI native platform for enterprise use. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products and scale foundation models, similarity search, and guardrails.

You will leverage AWS, HuggingFace, PyTorch, and VectorDBs to optimize training and inference, drive governance, and improve observability while shaping the long-term AI roadmap at Capital One.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of AI/ML algorithm development or equivalent experience.
• Strong programming experience in Python, Go, Scala, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineers, researchers, PMs to deliver AI products.
• Design, build, test, deploy, and support AI software components.
• Work with Open Source and SaaS AI technologies across platforms.
• Develop state-of-the-art optimization techniques for training and inference.
• Contribute to long-term AI systems roadmap at Capital One.
