Job summary

Capital One is seeking a senior AI engineer to lead and advance its AI foundation models and infrastructure. You will collaborate with engineers, researchers, PMs, and product managers to deliver AI-powered products, design and optimize large-scale AI components, and promote responsible AI practices across the organization.

You will leverage a broad stack including AWS, Hugging Face, and VectorDBs, while guiding multi-year platform initiatives and mentoring senior technical leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/AI/EE/CE with 8–10+ years of AI/ML development experience.
• 10+ years of Python/related languages experience.
• Experience leading multi-team AI infrastructure initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components and foundation models.
