Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design and build AWS-native data foundations for enterprise AI applications including knowledge graphs, semantic layers, and retrieval pipelines. You will lead design strategy and hands-on engineering, aligning complex data sources into coherent knowledge graphs with provenance and strong grounding quality.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a STEM field is required.
• Minimum of three years of data engineering experience.
• Experience designing data models and semantic layers for large-scale AI/ML systems.
• Production experience with knowledge graphs and graph query languages.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and evolution of knowledge graphs and ontologies powering AI reasoning, retrieval, and explainability.
• Align enterprise data into a coherent, queryable graph with provenance across sources.
• Own retrieval substrate, including graph queries and vector indexes, for grounding quality.
