Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a data engineer to design knowledge graphs and ontologies powering AI reasoning and explainability. You will align enterprise data—handbooks, parts, service manuals, and records—into a coherent, queryable graph with provenance across sources.

Build ingestion pipelines in Python/SQL on AWS (Glue, Lambda, S3, Athena, OpenSearch, Neptune) and author infrastructure as code (CDK/CloudFormation).

Qualifications

Must-have degree in a STEM field.
3+ years data engineering experience.
Strong knowledge graphs and semantic modeling background.
Production experience with graph databases and query languages.
Proficient in AWS data services and Python/SQL.

Responsibilities

Lead design and evolution of knowledge graphs and ontologies.
Align diverse data sources into a coherent queryable graph with provenance.
Own retrieval substrate and improve grounding quality.
Curate grounding corpora and evaluation datasets for LLM features.
Build data models and ETL pipelines on AWS (Glue, Lambda, S3, Athena, OpenSearch, Neptune).
Ensure data contracts, IAM security, and observability; mentor engineers.
